Calvine Tugume is a Risk and Compliance Officer at Sky Reinsurance Brokers Limited.
He has 7 years of experience in (re)insurance industry and has worked with various insurance brand companies such as GA Insurance (U) Ltd, UAP Old Mutual, Goldstar Insurance (U) Ltd, TransAfrica Assurance (U) Ltd and Pheonix Assurance of Uganda Limited.
Calvine has served in various capacities i.e., Reinsurance manager, Reinsurance Analyst, Senior Underwriter, Underwriter. He has well-endowed professional and technical experience in treaty design, Treaty renewal pack drafting, treaty negotiation, underwriting of complex risks, Treaty performance analysis, Facultative placement and overview understanding of the reinsurance brokerage industry with a prudent underwriter’s perception.
Calvine is a BSc. Actuarial Science (Hons.) graduate of Makerere University, Cert. PSTRP (Distinction) holder of College of Insurance, Kenya and a Certified Cyber Insurance Specialist (CCIS) with the Cyber Insurance Academy (CIA). He is currently pursuing his ACII with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
